To Ray and the Team,

Just to let you know that both Kim and Stephanie are now both well on the road to full health, we’re all looking forward to a week of sunshine in the south of France soon and that should complete the recovery. Despite the accident on the last day, all four of us agree that the Rally was very well organised with great company, super hotels and above all lots of fun. During Kim’s two week stay at the hospital in Kufstein after the rally the temperatures rose to 34 degrees so after the doctors allowed her into the hospital gardens she was quite happy (also the hospital bar sells beer!).

Ray , if you decide to run the event next year, I’ll get their car re-built in time. Once again may I thank our fellow competitors for their help at the scene which made all the difference, and the Clarks for their flowers.

Nikki and I would like to thank you for organising a thoroughly enjoyable rally ( apart from the weather! )

The hotels were excellent along with the organisation, the route and the marshalling. Very well done and we are looking forward to next year.

What a great rally!!
Linda and I would like to thank you and your Team for organising a superb event. This was the first time that Linda had taken part in an International event, and as one of the few lady drivers she was a little apprehensive. She had no need to be, as everyone made her feel so welcome. We made some very good friends during the event and hope that you will be running another RdA in 2008. I promise to try and find a more suitable car next time!
Do you have any news about a 2008 RdA?
Thank you again, and good luck in the future.

Dear Ray,

Firstly if it is possible to print my thanks on the website to the teams who stopped at the scene and provided the help which I am sure made all the difference to the outcome, also please pass on my thanks again to Eddie and the support member who drove my Healey to Salzburg. Up until the last day we all really enjoyed the event. Stephanie is now back in England , she has pains all over her body and a cut on her chin but otherwise O.K. Kim is still in Kufstein with 4 broken ribs, and some internal injuries. At the moment however the doctors say no operation will be necessary which is good news and she should be out of hospital by the end of next week. If any competitors enquire and wish to send notes (some already have),

The address is :

- Bezirks Krankenhaus Kufstein, Endach 27, A – 6330, Kufstein, Austria. Kim Porter - Zimmer 425.

Stephanie wants me to re-build her Healey (called William) in time for next year !! so no evenings to the theatre and restaurants for a while.

Best Regards,

Stephen
